The body of the clock is solid brass and it has hemispherical glass lenses on both the front and back.
You can see a magnified view of the 17-jewel clock mechanism moving from both the front and the back.
The clock will sit upright on a flat surface, as the back lens has a small ground flat area.
It weighs 7.9 ounces (224 grams) and measures 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm) in diameter.
The speed of the clock can be changed by removing the back
and adjusting a lever near the spring.
