Stanley London® Quartz Desk Clock with Magnetic Compass in a Rich Piano-Finished Solid Mahogany Case Regular $90, Now Only $49 This handsome piano-finish quartz desk clock also features a magnetic compass in its base.  The clock-compass case is sculpted from a large 3 1/2 inch (8.6 cm) cube of seasoned solid mahogany, and is then expertly sanded, stained, and finished with 12 coats of hand-rubbed lacquer for an unbelievably deep piano grade finish.  The clock and compass bezels, and the inset hinges are crafted from solid brass with a rich gold plating.  The clock features a highly accurate battery operated Japanese quartz movement (battery included), and a fully functional magnetic compass is inset into the mahogany base.  The clock compass is 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm) tall with the lid closed, 3 1/2 inches (8.6 cm) square, and weighs a solid 14.5 ounces (410 grams).  The clock bezel is 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) in diameter and the compass bezel is 1 3/4 inches (5.5 cm) in diameter.  The bottom of the clock compass is covered with felt to protect your fine furniture.  The front of the clock's base can be fitted with a custom engraved brass plaque with up to 30 words of text.  This Mahogany Clock Compass makes a perfect gift to adorn an executive's desk, or as a functional nautical accessory for a book shelf.
