This Stanley London® solid brass reproduction of a Military Lensatic Compass easily folds to
fit in your pocket.
The compass card has both the standard 0 - 360 degree scale, as well as the 0 - 64 Mil scale (one yard at
1,000 yards).
Especially helpful during the night, the cardinal points are luminous to allow for easy glow-in-the-dark viewing.
The compass features a standard glass bezel with two lines at 45 degree angles.
Also, you are able to alter the heading reference a known amount without looking at the compass, since the
bezel also rotates with detents.
The front sight has a magnifier to allow the simultaneous viewing of the magnetic heading when taking a sight.
To make readings easier, there is a needle freeze mechanism located on the side of the compass that allows a
reading to be held.
Folding the sight down operates a needle lift mechanism to protect the compass bearing while transporting
the compass.
This compass is beautifully crafted from solid brass and measures 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm) in diameter,
7/8 inch (2.2 cm) thick, and weighs 4.9 ounces (139 grams).
The compass is available in either a polished version or an antique patina.
The polished version is blank on the back, while "Stanley London" is engraved on the back of the antique
patina version.
Your personalized inscription up to 16 words can be engraved on the front or back of either compass.
A 100 percent leather case is available for either version of the compass.
Most often, the brown leather case is used with the polished lensatic compass, and the
distressed brown leather case is used with the antique patina version, although either
case is available.
The Military Lensatic Compass is offered at only $38, and a 100 percent leather case is available for an
additional $10.
