Solid Brass and Hardwood Pendulum Inclinometer $34
Solid Brass Bubble Clinometer $27
These beautiful Stanley London® solid brass inclinometers are used to measure the heel of a sailboat at sea.
Determining the heel, or tilt angle of a sailing vessel, is necessary for optimal sail trim and safety.
We have two models of inclinometers available.
The pendulum inclinometer features a low friction weighted brass pendulum that indicates the angle of heel over a +/- 30 degrees range to 1 degree accuracy.
The pendulum inclinometer is mounted on a turned hardwood base and has a beveled glass cover and solid brass case.
The pendulum inclinometer measures 5 3/4 inches (14.6 cm) in diameter, 1 5/8 inches (4.2 cm) thick, and weighs one pound, eight ounces (680 grams).
The pendulum inclinometer provides superior performance in full sun and over wide temperature extremes as there is no fluid or bubble.
Sorry, the pendulum inclinometer cannot be engraved.
The polished brass bubble clinometer features a curved liquid filled glass vial that can measure +/- 40 degrees of tilt.
The clinometer has a glass cover and "CLINOMETER STANLEY LONDON" is marked on the brass face.
The bubble clinometer is 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm) in diameter, 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) thick, and weighs 13.4 ounces (380 grams).
Custom engraving in arc-shaped lettering is available on the bezel of the bubble clinometer.
The pendulum inclinometer is available for $34, and the solid brass clinometer sells for only $27.
