This Military Lensatic Compass folds easily to fit in your pocket.
This accurate compass has a liquid-damped compass card and features
both the standard 0 - 360 degree scale, as well as the 0 - 64 Mil scale (one yard at 1,000 yards).
The compass has a luminous dial that can still be read easily at night, and a standard bezel with two yellow lines at 45
degree angles.
You can change the heading reference a known amount without looking at the compass since the bezel rotates with detents every 3 degrees.
The front sight has a magnifier to allow concurrent viewing of the magnetic heading when taking a sight.
A second magnifier assists in reading the magnetic heading when direct viewing from above.
The compass measures 3 inches (7.6 cm) long, 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm) wide, 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick, and weighs 4.4 ounces (125 grams).
A durable cast gold zinc case serves to protect this compass.
A 100 percent leather case, or a military-specification pouch is available for the compass.
