This sextant looks like a turn-of-the-century antique and is similar to our four-inch polished brass sextant, but with an antique finish.
If you plan on handling the sextant much, you'll really appreciate
how the antique finish does not show fingerprints or need polishing.
The 4-inch (10 cm) radius brass sextant has six filters and a slow motion control to allow fine
adjustment of the inclination angle.
The sextant measures 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm) tall, 4 1/2 inches (11.4 cm) wide,
2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm) deep, and weighs 12.2 ounces (346 grams).
A beautiful hardwood storage and display box is available for the sextant.
We also offer custom brass plaques for the hardwood case.
