Sextant Easily Removed from Plaque
Solid Brass 3-inch Radius Sextant on Solid Hardwood Wall Plaque $73 This solid brass 3-inch radius sextant is mounted on a beautiful solid hardwood wall plaque.  The fully functional sextant can be easily removed from the plaque, however, it is not calibrated nor intended for navigation. A bright and sharp, magnified image is produced by the sextant's telescope, which can be extended to focus.  Reading the vernier scale is made easier by the utilization of a built-in powerful magnifier that can be swung into position. There are four dark swing-arm filters and the sextant has a gear-driven adjustment for the index arm.  The sextant measures 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm) tall, and 4 inches (10.2 cm) wide.  The plaque has Roman edges and measures 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide, and 5 1/4 inches (13.3 cm) tall.  The sextant and plaque are 3 inches (7.6 cm) deep and weighs 17.4 ounces (493 grams).  The wooden plaque only has room for a small brass plaque at the top that can be custom engraved for an additional $10, with three words maximum, such as a name.
