Stanley London® Large Polished Brass Sundial Compass with Removable Lid $67.50 The Stanley London® Large Polished Brass Sundial Compass with Removable Lid is a beautiful solid brass reproduction of an antique sundial compass.  The compass card is mounted perpendicular to the needle and the entire card rotates to allow stable and accurate readings.  There is a needle lift thumbscrew to secure the compass needle while in transport.  The brass sundial compass is 3 3/16 inches (8 cm) in diameter, 1 5/8 inches (4 cm) tall, and weighs just 9 ounces (256 grams).  This sundial compass makes a perfect desk accessory for the distinguished office.  The lid is recommended for personalized engraving and the bottom of the sundial compass has room for an additional longer message. Polished Brass Pocket Sundial Compass with Copper Compass Rose $44.50 The Polished Brass Pocket Sundial Compass with Copper Compass Rose is a beautiful solid brass antique reproduction of an antique pocket sundial with an internal compass.  The sun's shadow cast by the sundial's triangular brass gnomon marks the local time.  The brass gnomon lays flat for compact storage.  The sundial compass measures a maximum of 2 1/16 inches (5.3 cm) tall, 1 1/16 inch (2.6 cm) tall when collapsed, the body of the compass is 2 7/16 inches (6.1 cm) in diameter, and the sundial weighs 6 ounces (169 grams).  Your personal inscription can be custom engraved on the back of the sundial. Small Brass Pocket Sundial with Magnetic Compass and Leather Case $36 This is a beautiful polished solid brass reproduction of an antique pocket sundial with an internal magnetic compass.  The sundial is capable of being oriented North by using the magnetic compass.  The top of the sundial is hinged and a curved scale is used to set your local latitude angle.  Local time can be determined by looking at the shadow of the sun cast by the sundial's vane. A needle lift mechanism protects the jeweled bearing of the compass during transport.  For compact storage, the top of the sundial can lay down flat, and both the latitude scale and the sundial vane are hinged to lay flat.  The sundial measures a maximum of 2 7/8 inches (7.0 cm) tall, 7/8 inches (2.3 cm) tall when collapsed, the body of the compass is 2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm) in diameter, and the sundial weighs 4.5 ounces (128 grams). Antique Small Pocket Sundial $28 The Antique Small Pocket Sundial is a beautiful reproduction.  The exterior of the sundial has beautiful antique look and is marked "Stanley London" on top of the lid.  The interior of the Antique Small Pocket Sundial is made of solid brass, and features two copper rivet.  The magnetic compass allows the sundial to be oriented North.  The sun's shadow cast by the sundial's vane marks the local time.   The sundial's lid and base have knurled edges so the lid is easy to remove and replace.  The sundial vane is hinged to lay flat for compact storage.  When the lid is closed this sundial is 2 inches in diameter (5 cm), 11/16 inch thick (1.7 cm), and weighs 3.4 ounces (97 grams). Pocket Sundial Compass with Cord Gnomon Available in Polished or Antique Patina Finish $27.50 This antique reproduction of a Pocket Sundial Compass with Cord Gnomon is solid brass and features an internal magnetic compass which allows the sundial to be properly oriented North.  The sundial's cord gnomon indicates the time by the shadow it casts.  The sundial is available in a beautiful polished brass finish, or an antique patina finish which looks like a 100 year old antique.  The back of the sundial is stamped Stanley London and has instructions for use of the sundial with a correction table.  Either sundial folds down for compact storage.  When the lids are closed these sundials measure 2 inches in diameter (5 cm), 11/16 inch thick (1.7 cm), and weigh 3.4 ounces (97 grams).
