Pirate Cutlass with Leather Scabbard
$129
This beautiful Pirate Cutlass with leather scabbard features a 23 3/8-inch (59.4 cm) blade with full hand
protection.
Throughout the 17th to mid-19th centuries, pirate cutlasses with full basket hand protection were widely used.
The shorter length and weightiness of the cutlass was ideal for fighting in the close-quarters present aboard the
sailing ships out on the high sea.
We are pleased to offer this Pirate Cutlass, which features a large, polished solid brass basket for hand
protection as well as a hand-sewn leather grip with chrome-plated brass.
The blade is crafted from tempered high carbon steel and measures 1 3/4 inches (4.4 cm) wide and 3/16 inch
(0.48 cm) thick at the hilt (where the blade and grip meet).
Overall, the sword is 29 1/2 inches (74.9 cm) long and weighs a very solid 3 pounds 2 ounces (1.4 kg).
We offer custom engraving on one or both sides of the blade, with
up to five lines of text.
When ordering, please specify the desired location and orientation of your personalized text in the special
instructions box.
The sword cannot be shipped with a sharpened blade, although you can easily sharpen the blade yourself.
Included with the cutlass is a 100 percent genuine leather scabbard complete with attached leather belt
loop so that it may be hung from a belt.
The scabbard weighs an additional 7 ounces (198 grams).
The Pirate Cutlass with leather scabbard is available for $129.
